Itron Inspire is officially underway in San Antonio, Texas! Whether you’re attending in person or following along from afar on social media, keep reading as we take you through a day in the life at this year’s premier, customer-focused event.

Get inspired at the opening keynote and general session. 
The opening keynote and general session are always a fantastic way to kick off the conference. This year’s keynote consisted of a fireside chat with Itron president and CEO, Tom Deitrich, and executives from our co-host utilities including Rudy Garza, president and CEO of CPS Energy and Robert Puente, president & CEO of San Antonio Water System (SAWS). In addition, Itron’s Marina Donovan, vice president of corporate marketing, ESG and public affairs, announced the release of the 2023 Resourcefulness Insight Report. 

Take a walk through the Knowledge Center. 
A walk through the Knowledge Center is a great way to get up to speed on Itron and partner innovations that are helping utilities stay ahead of the energy transition curve. This year’s Knowledge Center is showcasing Itron services and solutions including cellular, smart streetlights, distributed energy management, electric vehicles and more.  

Check out the Itron Experience.  
This year’s Itron Experience is unlike anything past attendees have seen before. Attendees this year are in the driver’s seat and can “Choose Your Own Grid Adventure” – to see how their decisions can make or break the grid. Tours can be reserved in the Itron Inspire app. 

Attend a breakout session. 
Take your pick out from over 95 breakout sessions led by Itron customers and industry leaders. Breakout sessions take place each day of the conference and cover topics ranging from grid operations, demand response and data management, to intelligently connected IIoT platforms and the movement to electrified transportation.
